University of Maryland, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ (AGNR) Open House this Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 10:00 am. – 3:00 p.m., at the Central Maryland Research and Education Center – Clarksville Facility at 4240 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, in Howard County, Maryland. It’s FREE and open to the public.
Bring your family and friends and come to the Open House at the farm and learn how Academic, Research, and Extension programs benefit you. See the horses, cows, calves, and turtles . . . watch the insect races and beautiful butterflies . . . take a hay wagon farm tour . . . visit the educational and interactive displays and exhibits on everything from nutrition to rural enterprise development. . . participate in the numerous hands-on activities . . . talk with an AGNR recruiter . . . and get your plant questions answered by a Master Gardener!
